Argos also has an exclusive joint venture agreement with Tecnoglass (Nasdaq TGLS) for the distribution of glass related products for the construction industry.

Managing Members:

Dennis Cotto

Prior to forming The Argos Group, LLC, Mr. Cotto established and served as Chairman of Real Estate Technical Advisors, Inc. (“RETA”), a full service real estate consulting firm serving public and private institutional clients in the North and Mid-Atlantic states.  During this tenure, Mr. Cotto was awarded the Public Buildings Service Award of the General Services Administration for his company’s contributions in the transformation of the agency’s real estate operations.

Prior to RETA, Mr. Cotto served as Founder and Executive Director of Legal Outreach, Inc. a not for profit educational organization with accredited clinical programs at New York University and Columbia University Law Schools.  Mr. Cotto served on the Board of Directors of National Property Trust, Ltd. and the Whitman Walker Clinic.   He presently serves on the Board of the Hispanic College Fund.

Mr. Cotto holds a Bachelors Degree from Hampshire College, Amherst, Massachusetts and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Cotto is a member in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the United States Supreme Court.

Gilberto Cardenas

In the course of a diverse career in real estate development, construction, architecture and entrepreneurship, Gilberto has proven to be a skilled leader, visionary entrepreneur and a clever problem solver, with a strong commitment to the community of Washington, D.C.

An Architect by training, Gilberto started his career as an Architect, and entrepreneur in his native Colombia.  Gilberto then moved to the United States to pursue post-graduate studies in Business Administration, Real Estate and International Business from New Hampshire College, and Harvard University.

 Mr. Cárdenas was the recipient of the March Of Dimes Award for outstanding work with the Latino Community, and for promoting affordable housing in the District of Columbia.  Mr. Cárdenas is an active board member at Mi Casa Inc, a non-for profit developer of affordable housing in the District of Columbia; he is also the former Chair of the District of Columbia Commission on Latino Community Development, and board member of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
